Free Senior Benefits Navigator

Medicare, Social Security, prescriptions, supplemental plans, and the papers a caregiver will need, all in one place. Use the Excel workbook or a Google Sheets copy. A one-page Handoff tab tells a caregiver where everything is. Free. No email required.

What it tracks

  • Medicare Parts A, B, and D: plans, premiums, and enrollment windows

  • Social Security benefit and yearly cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), plus VA benefits if you served

  • Medigap, Medicare Advantage, dental, vision, and hearing coverage

  • Medications, plan coverage, allergies, and monthly costs

  • Programs worth asking about, applications, and who can act for you

How to start

  1. Open Start Here, then read How to Use. It takes five minutes.

  2. Fill in Profile, then list your plans on Coverage and prescriptions on Medications.

  3. Add Social Security and other income on Income, and where the papers are kept on Papers.

  4. Use the Start Here cards to see what is due, then work through Benefits to Check.

Help keep this accurate

Rules, costs, and offices change, and the people doing the work see it first. If something in this tool is outdated, works differently in your state, or is missing, send me a note. Include the tool name, what to change, and a source if you have one. Medicare costs change every January, so corrections help. Please never include your Social Security number, Medicare number, or medical details.
